ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Camden, South Carolina.

OR Registered Nurse

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for an experienced OR Registered Nurse specializing in surgical care. The ideal candidate will support various surgical procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Shifts will be on a 5x8 hour day schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend coverage is typically required every fourth weekend, depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth flow of surgical operations.
  • Monitor patient status and advocate for patient needs before, during, and after surgery.
  • Administer medications and fluids as prescribed.
  • Participate in on-call coverage during weekdays from 3 PM to 7 AM as per rotation.
  • Float between like units to meet facility staffing needs as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 4 years of OR nursing experience.
  • Current SC nursing license or compact state license is required prior to start.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be in hand before beginning the assignment.
