Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday (8-5PM)

Position Overview

The Property Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple residential communities throughout the Dover, New Philadelphia, Wooster, and surrounding Ohio markets. This role combines operational leadership, resident relations, leasing oversight, team management, and property performance strategy.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, professional, and capable of balancing both field operations and administrative responsibilities while maintaining a strong resident-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Portfolio Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple residential communities.
  • Lead and coordinate maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure properties remain well-maintained and professionally operated.
  • Manage apartment turnover timelines and ensure units are delivered rent-ready efficiently and to company standards.
  • Monitor property performance, occupancy trends, delinquency reporting, and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in implementing operational improvements and company initiatives throughout assigned communities.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal, asset condition, and compliance standards.

Leasing & Resident Relations

  • Oversee leasing activity including advertising, tours, approvals, move-ins, renewals, and resident retention efforts.
  • Build and maintain positive resident relationships while professionally handling escalated concerns and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure lease compliance and enforce community policies consistently and professionally.
  • Monitor delinquency and assist with collections processes as needed.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide leadership, accountability, and support to onsite teams and vendors.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, responsiveness, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate scheduling priorities, project timelines, and team workflow.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on budgeting, capital improvements, and operational planning.

Qualifications

  • Previous property management, operations management, hospitality, retail leadership, or multi-site management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and urgency.
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service instincts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned communities as needed.
