The Opportunity

OpenText Business Network is powered by the world's largest business network in the cloud, enabling organizations to securely connect, collaborate, and exchange information with customers, suppliers, and partners around the globe.

As an Account Executive, Business Network, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing customer relationships within a designated territory. You will engage with executive-level stakeholders, understand complex business challenges, and position OpenText's Business Network solutions to help organizations modernize their digital supply chains, streamline B2B communications, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing sales team focused on helping customers leverage cloud-based B2B integration, managed file transfer, electronic data interchange (EDI), and digital commerce solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal sales, solution consulting, customer success, and partner teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM and sales methodologies.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry challenges affecting customers' digital transformation initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software or technology sales experience with a demonstrated track record of quota attainment.
  • Experience selling complex cloud, SaaS, on-premises, or hybrid solutions to enterprise organizations.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and key business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience developing new business while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify customer challenges and align solutions to business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of B2B integration, EDI, managed file transfer, supply chain, digital commerce, or related technologies is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $109,000-163,400 + variable; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
