OpenText Content Server Developer
The Opportunity:
As an embedded software engineer, you know how to create and maintain crucial pieces of software. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of software, allowing them to communicate. We're looking for an experienced embedded software engineer like you to develop technology for our clients' most important mission-forward challenges.
As a senior embedded software engineer at Booz Allen, you'll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you'll write, test, and edit code in support of the team's overall results. You'll expand your skills as you develop and reverse engineer software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You'll work with other team leaders to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity specialists to ensure that the software you're creating is secure.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with OpenText Content Server versions 16.x or 22.x
  • Experience configuring and customizing OpenText Content Server, including OScript module development, workflows, forms, and Content Server Web Services such as SOAP or REST
  • Experience integrating OpenText with external systems using APIs, middleware, or enterprise service bus patterns
  • Experience developing technical documentation, migration strategies, implementation roadmaps, test plans, and deployment artifacts
  • Experience supporting secure, large-scale enterprise environments, ideally in federal or regulated industries
  • Experience with authentication or authorization frameworks such as SAML, OAuth, or LDAP/A, and with SQL databases, such as Oracle or SQL Server, system logs analysis, and performance tuning
  • Experience with OScript, WebReports, SmartUI or REST API extensions, Content Server administration, and module customization
  • Ability to develop automation, metadata models, and governance-enabling features that improve retrieval, classification, and lifecycle management of enterprise content
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with OpenText platforms such as AppWorks, Core Share, Extended ECM, or Documentum
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GovCloud equivalents
  • Possession of strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • OpenText Content Server, AWS, or Azure certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
