Job description

Futurex is seeking talented individuals with a passion for technology and an interest in business to join our sales team as a Sales Engineer. The position can be based out of Futurex’s Engineering Campus, 15 miles north of San Antonio, Texas, or Futurex's satellite office, just south of Austin, TX.

The Sales Engineer role is a hybrid between business development, IT environment design, and pre-sales technical support. A Sales Engineer is as comfortable working with technology as they are with people. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with sales executives to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Apply business knowledge and technical ability to create state-of-the-art solutions to help enterprises secure their sensitive data
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend enhancements to our cutting-edge, hardware-based cryptographic solutions
  • Provide pre-sales support and conduct technical proof of concepts to drive new business
  • Conduct customer training on our products and data security best practices
  • Provide project management services for custom development initiatives and global Hardened Enterprise Security Platform implementations
  • Understand industry-specific APIs and protocols used when interfacing with external systems

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical and/or business related major
  • Broad information technology background
  • Strong problem-solving skills
