Import/Export Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of software development professionals and consultants Provide coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, to direct/indirect reports within broader team. Actively drives improvements and efficiencies within the team, introduce a robust SDLC and other best practice processes and ways of working. Lead Agile planning and execution to help the team achieve milestones and ultimately deliver the product Work closely with various Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure delivery of the product with the agreed upon features by the agreed upon target dates. Work with Product Owners and Executive Stakeholders to establish the long-term vision and strategic direction of the product set. Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations. Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and management of all ERP applications Identifying and resolving issues with the ERP system. Ensuring that all ERP applications meet business needs and are running efficiently. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the effective use of the ERP system Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned.Location: Houston TX 77029

Should be able to think strategically and execute methodically Bachelor or Maters degree in IT, IS, Business Administration or related field. At least ten years of experience managing an IT/IS department.Import/Export Specialist Skills and Traits: Proficient in latest technology for systems and data management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
