Your Key Accountabilities

As our S&OP Manager, you will be at the centre of our Germanium and Infrared supply chains.The further development of our S&OP and S&OE capabilities has been identified as one of the key strategic priorities within EOM. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and mature these processes while driving alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial and Finance.You will oversee the end-to-end planning process and ensure that demand, supply, capacity and inventory decisions support both operational excellence and business growth.This is a highly visible role where you will directly influence performance, service levels and strategic decision-making across the business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Strengthen and mature our S&OP capabilities
    • Further develop the S&OP framework, processes, governance, systems and organizational capabilities currently being established within EOM.
    • Drive the evolution towards a mature, data-driven and business-focused planning process.
    • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment and foster planning excellence across the organization.
  • Lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain
    • Oversee the full supply chain flow, ensuring seamless coordination between demand planning, supply planning, production planning and logistics.
    • Own the planning cadence and facilitate the decision-making process across S&OE and S&OP cycles.
    • Align planning outcomes with financial objectives and reporting requirements.
    • Act as a trusted business partner for Operations, Commercial teams and Finance.
  • Deliver robust and reliable planning
    • Balance customer demand, operational capacity and supply availability to create realistic and executable plans.
    • Drive improvements in customer service, inventory performance and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor, analyse and improve business and operational KPIs through fact-based decision-making and performance management.
    • Ensure planning processes support both short-term execution and medium-term business objectives.
  • Drive transformation and continuous improvement
    • Lead strategic improvement initiatives, including the implementation and optimization of planning tools such as Anaplan and SAP.
    • Build planning capabilities and strengthen supply chain maturity throughout the organization.
    • Identify opportunities to improve customer service, profitability, product mix optimization and operational agility.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence.
Who we are looking for

You are an experienced supply chain professional who combines analytical strength with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.You are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment, influencing decisions across different functions and levels of the organization, and driving meaningful change.

You bring also with you

  • A Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain, Operations Planning, S&OP, IBP or related areas.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or chemical environment.
  • Solid knowledge of multi-level S&OP/SIOP processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and strong ERP/EPM capabilities, preferably SAP and/or Anaplan.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
  • A strong sense of ownership, resilience and results orientation.
  • The ability to connect people, align stakeholders and drive decisions.
  • A naturally curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
