Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $19.40 per hour

Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a 2nd Shift Op Tech to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping produce high-quality thermoformed parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement standards. This company is looking to hire full time!

What You'll Be Doing
As a 2nd Shift Op Tech, your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoform equipment to produce parts to specification while ensuring machine readiness prior to production.
Quality & Inspection: Inspect finished parts, identify nonconforming materials or products, and communicate issues with leadership for resolution.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.
In addition, you will also train packaging technicians, assist with packing parts, and support other production tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred
Excellent mechanical skills with demonstrated work history
Ability to pass a vision test (corrected vision of at least 20/40, peripheral and depth perception)
Basic math, computer, and mechanical skills
Ability to read, write, and calculate
Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, twist, and stand for long periods

Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment performance and production flow.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify product defects and ensure quality standards are met.
Independent Work & Communication: Proven ability to work independently while effectively communicating with team members and leadership.
