Trainers assess the needs of the organization, develop customized learning materials, and provide hands-on instruction. This role may include conducting workshops, seminars, or one-on-one sessions to enhance employee productivity and competence.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of someone working in onsite training?

Professionals in Onsite Training spend their days planning, coordinating, and delivering training sessions directly at client or company locations. This often involves customizing training materials to suit the audience, setting up equipment, conducting interactive workshops, and assessing participant progress through evaluations or hands-on activities. Teamwork and collaboration with department leaders, HR, or subject matter experts are common to ensure training aligns with organizational needs. Trainers may also provide follow-up support or coaching after sessions to reinforce learning and address questions. These responsibilities require strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different learners and environments.

At N-able, we're at the forefront of providing cutting-edge technology solutions to our clients. Our Solutions group is expanding rapidly, and we're seeking talented individuals to join our team of high-performing Sales Engineers. As a Sales Engineer at N-able, you'll play a vital role in accelerating product usage and removing technical buying objections to drive our business forward.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer for our RMM/UEM group, with deep technical experience in IT-admin. In this customer-facing, pre-sales role, you'll partner closely with account executives, channel partners, and customers to deliver compelling demonstrations, guide proof-of-value (POV) trials, and position our solutions as the trusted choice for managed service providers (MSPs) and mid-market alike.
What You'll Do
  • Conduct Pre-Sales Product Demonstrations: Showcase the capabilities and benefits of N-able's products through engaging and informative demonstrations to prospective partners.
  • Manage Prospect Requirements: Understand the unique needs and challenges of our prospects and provide technical assistance and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Trial Orientations and Walkthroughs: Lead trial orientations and walkthroughs, highlighting N-able's strengths and capabilities, to help potential partners make informed decisions.
  • Competitive Analysis and Market Research: Conduct thorough competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with market trends to understand competitor strengths and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Partners: Assess and address client requirements during product deployment, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Offer Best Practices: Provide design and configuration best practices to partners when deploying N-Able products to their networks, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years in pre-sales engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles.
  • Ability to effectively convey product messaging and value proposition through technical demonstrations, trade show demonstrations, and onsite training engagements
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills to build rapport and trust with partners.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects efficiently to meet specific deadlines.
  • The capability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment, and work autonomously, demonstrating nimbleness and proactive problem-solving.
  • Experience in RMM, UEM, vulnerability or patching solutions is desirable.

Purple Perks
What do we offer you?
  • Medical, dental and vision - for employee, partner, and children!
  • Generous PTO and observed holidays
  • 2 Paid VoluNteer Days per year
  • Pension Plan with company-contribution
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • Discounted gym access at several local facilities
  • FuN-raising opportunities as part of our giving program
  • N-ablite Learning - custom learning experience as part of our investment in you
