We are a state of the art rehabilitation resort where we combine uncompromising luxury, never before seen amenities, and the highest quality care to provide a superior rapid rehabilitation experience.

Position Overview:

Ignite Medical Resorts is seeking a IT Infrastructure Engineer/Field Administrator to support a rapidly growing, geographically distributed healthcare organization with 32+ locations across multiple states. This role blends advanced remote infrastructure support (Tier 2.5) with select onsite Field Administration, providing a critical scaling layer between the centralized service desk and traditional field support. The position is designed to reduce unnecessary travel, accelerate issue resolution, enable smart-hands execution, and maintain Ignite's strong in-house IT control model as the organization continues to expand.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tier 2.5 - Remote Infrastructure Oversight & Troubleshooting (60%)

Serve as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure issues prior to field dispatch, including network, ISP, firewall, switching, WAN, VOIP Systems, cameras, and access control systems.

Perform advanced remote diagnostics and root-cause analysis to determine the most effective resolution path: remote resolution, smart-hands dispatch, or onsite field support.

Coordinate with ISPs, carriers, and vendors after technical validation to ensure efficient resolution and SLA adherence.

Provide technical oversight and guidance to Field Administrators and smart-hands resources.

Support M&A and new-facility readiness by validating infrastructure standards and identifying risks ahead of go-live.

Maintain & schedule Infrastructure updates, patches and fixes.

Reduce escalations to the CTO by independently resolving gray-area and Tier 2.5 infrastructure issues.

Be part of the Ignite IT on-call rotation

Field Administration - Select Onsite Support (40%)

Perform planned onsite work for critical outages, high-complexity issues or installations, new construction, expansions, and acquisitions.

Serve as the lead onsite engineer when smart-hands resources are insufficient or situations require Ignite-specific systems knowledge.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware, end-user devices, phone systems, CCTV, and access control systems. Hardware & wiring.

Ensure accurate post-visit documentation, diagrams, and facility standards updates.

Project, Vendor & Operational Support

Contribute to and lead local and enterprise-wide IT projects with minimal oversight.

Act as a technical liaison between facilities and corporate IT, ensuring local needs are accurately represented.

Assist with vendor management, solution evaluations, and technology improvements.

Conduct root-cause analysis for high-severity incidents and ensure proper communication and follow-up.

Process, Documentation & Mentorship

Define, improve, and document IT processes, procedures, and facility standards.

Support knowledge transfer and mentoring for Help Desk staff and junior technical team members.

Promote consistent troubleshooting and escalation practices across the organization.

If you are dedicated, compassionate, dependable and energetic - WE WANT YOU!
