Position Purpose
Ensure that all aspects of the residents' personal care and service plan are implemented while assuring that the resident is treated with dignity and respect, assisting each resident to be as independent and self-sufficient as possible.
Qualifications
    • Caregiving experience or certification preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA), Home Health Aide

    • Minimum of 17 years of age.

    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

    • Must be able to pass the state mandated criminal background screening.
Essential Functions
    • Deliver care based on individualized service plans

    • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, dining)

    • Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights

    • Observe and report changes in residents' condition to supervisor

    • Document care and services as directed

    • Assist residents with meals and life enrichment activities as needed
Physical and Mental Requirements
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents in all aspects of personal care.

    • Handle emotional and physical demands of caregiving
