Position Summary:

As a Virtual Travel Agent,you'llcombine your passion for travel with strong sales and consultative skills to help members and nonmembers create memorable travel experiences. In this remote role,you'llbuild lasting customer relationships,identifyopportunities to meet travelers' needs, and recommend travel solutions along with ACG-branded products and services. Success in this position comes from delivering exceptional service, personalized recommendations, andseamlesscustomer experience from a homeofficework environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Generatenew sales,retainexistingmembers,and grow ACG's overall book of business through multiple product offerings.
  • Drive new business with competitive products and helpretainThe Auto Club Group's 13+ million members.
  • Conduct business with clients primarily through videotelephony - Teams, Zoom, Skype, Chatbot, etc., toestablishand grow mutually beneficial relationships with AAA Members to maximize their member experience and use of AAA benefits, leading to profitable sales, revenuegrowthand repeat Travel bookings.

Member Relationship Management

  • Establish and grow mutually beneficial relationships with AAA Members to maximize their member experience and use of AAA benefits,leading to profitable sales, revenuegrowthand repeat travel bookings.
  • Receive and champion customer concernsthroughresolution.

Sales Goals & Product Expertise

  • Achieve assigned travel, membership, and credit card sales goals.
  • Sell cruises, tours, hotel accommodations, air travel, car rental, travel insurance, AAA credit cards, AAA memberships and related travel products and services.

Travel Planning & Booking Support

  • Prepare complex and/or large-scale domestic and international travel packages.
  • Complete reservations and advise clientsregardingdocumentation requirements.
  • Make necessary travel arrangements, including reservations, payment collection, and document processing.

LeadGeneration & Technology Adoption

  • Ask for referrals and build and grow a book of client business byutilizingthe AAA ACGleadsystem.
  • Proactively learn andutilizeAAA ACG digital and communication technologiesincluding Salesforceto achieveobjectives.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years Travel Sales Experience

Work Environment

  • Works ina remote/virtual environment. May be asked to travel to ACG office location for workshops.
