JOB DESCRIPTION
- ADJUNCT
Oral Roberts University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach online courses in the ORU Advantage Program for high school students.
DUTIES
  • Teach curriculum from ORU's Advantage online offerings
  • Assist students in achieving course objectives and learning outcomes
  • Provide consistent and quality feedback to students
  • Engage students in the learning process
  • Maintain an accurate and current grade book
  • Communicate with students regularly through news announcements, posts and follow-up.
  • Provide support and encouragement to students who are under-performing in their coursework

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Hold a Master's degree in the teaching field
  • Experience in teaching high school students
  • Ability to teach online
  • Experience in online teaching is beneficial
  • Working knowledge of Desire to Learn (D2L) or other online learning platforms is desirable

Minimum Criteria
  • Eighteen graduate hours of academic credit in the teaching area
  • Experience teaching in P-12 schools
