**Cerner Required** No first time travelers ***ALL MYJOURNEY MODULES NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. TRAVELER WILL BE PUSHED BACK IF ALL MODULES ARE NOT COMPLETED. NO EXCEPTIONS*** - Unit: CVOR - Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS required; CNOR preferred CVOR candidates able to work in the general OR is preferred. - Number of OR Rooms: We can run 8 rooms a day plus 2 Heart rooms for a total of 9-10. - Cases per day: On average, we range from 23-25 cases per day - Types of cases: General surgery, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, Urology….we pretty much do everything here except Trauma (even though we have our fair share of stabbings, gunshot wounds, MVAs etc. We also have a strong Open Heart Surgery program - Tech Support: Yes - Charge Nurse on Staff: yes - Normal Hours/shifts: We have 8 and 12 hour shifts. -Weeknight/Call Requirements: RNs - starts at 1830 and goes until 0600 the next morning; minimum 2 nights of call per 4 week schedule. -Weekend/Call Requirements: RNs - Currently every 2nd/3rd weekend due to current staffing constraints. Should be every 3rd/4th weekend when fully staffed. - Scrub Color or Provided: We provide - Floating: No floating outside of OR. CVOR RNs may float to to Main OR from the CVOR if needed
