Job description

Lifesteps, a local non-profit human services agency, is currently hiring a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Indiana, PA area. 

This SUB position works one day per month - 7am-3pm (8hrs) preferrably on Tuesdays. *Other days of the week are an option.* 

The Nurse acts as a liaison between Lifesteps staff and medical professionals and consults with staff on cases involving individuals with disabilities and aging adults.   The Nurse also trains staff to administer medical recommendations and protocols as prescribed, and ensures internal control and compliance for prescribed procedures.

Must be willing to travel to assigned homes, accompany individuals and staff on medical appointments as needed, and work with team to promote healthy lifestyle.  Mental Health and/or social work preferred, but not required.

Job Requirements:

  • RN with current PA license
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Must be able to provide acceptable clearances
  • Ability to lift, position, and/or move up to 200lbs with assistance
