Selects, develops, writes and edits material for various organization publications.Â
Ensures that all materials meet established standards as to appearance and content.Â
Obtains cost estimates and collaborates in the selection of illustrator(s) and printer(s) and approves their work.Â
The primary responsibility of the Content Specialist (S) in the GI (gastrointestinal) Department to ensure the quality and accuracy of highly detailed communication materials created either by the department or externally (advertising agencies).Â
These materials cover an exceptionally wide range of communication objectives, including:Â
Prescribing Information (PI) documents created by the FDA for specific medicationsÂ
