Our doctors provide comprehensive eye exams for all ages.

What weโ€™re looking for:

Tescher Eye Center is seeking to hire great individuals seeking a long term career with great growth potential. The perfect candidate will be outgoing, motivated, dependable, and possess a high level of customer service skills. Any optical experience is great but not required. Previous retail experience is also a plus. We are requiring candidates who are bilingual since our clientele includes espanol speaking patients.

Summary:

The position of an Optician is a key part to our Optical Team. This team works together to serve all patient needs related to eye wear. The team is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of these products in a retail environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ยท Providing excellent patient service

ยท Adhere to privacy, confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (HIPAA)

ยท Frame styling, for comfort and optimal visual performance along with Eyewear adjustment and repair

ยท Communication with Optometrist regarding patient needs and recommendations

ยท Placing and receiving laboratory orders

ยท Ensuring all orders arrive and are to the specifications of the patient

ยท Enhances optical center reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

ยท Posts charges and payments along with obtaining insurance authorizations

ยท Professional phone etiquette and provide general administrative support

ยท Directly greet and service patients for scheduled appointments as well as impromptu visits

Summary:

The Receptionist is responsible for answering inbound calls and appointment reminders, outbound phone calls, scheduling patients, administrative functions, and providing superior customer service.
