The Role

As a Network Engineer at Latitude.sh, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports our Bare Metal Cloud Services.

You will work closely with our product engineering, infrastructure operations and network engineering teams, to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure.

Your role will involve designing and implementing new network solutions, troubleshooting network issues, and providing guidance to the team on best practices.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that support our Bare Metal Cloud Services
  • Monitor network performance and capacity and identify areas for improvement
  • Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols
  • Work closely with the development, operations, and network operations to ensure that the network infrastructure meets their requirements
  • Participate in the planning and execution of network-related projects
  • Document operational processes, technical procedures, and network designs and configurations
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements to our network infrastructure
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Juniper routing
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools in complex network topologies like Zabbix and Grafana
  • Self-learning capability and quick absorption of new technologies
  • Experience with VXLAN and Linux automation with command-line proficiency will be a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work with autonomy and proactivity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in both operational and project environments, with the adaptability to balance operational demands and project work
  • Advanced English communication skills (B2 level or above)
