About Us

We are launching a premier online vocational training program in Michigan, dedicated to equipping

students with the real-world skills needed for a successful career in healthcare administration. We

are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Online Medical Billing and Coding Instructor to guide

our students through virtual coursework.

Position Summary

As our online instructor, you will deliver pre-designed and live virtual curriculum, mentor students,

evaluate assignments, and prepare them for industry certification. This is a flexible remote role ideal

for experienced coding professionals looking to share their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach online modules covering ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

• Instruct students on the medical billing process, insurance claims, and electronic health records

(EHR).

• Grade student assignments, quizzes, and exams in a timely manner.

• Host virtual office hours and provide academic support via video or chat.

• Track student progress and help them prepare for national certification exams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification: Active, valid coding certification required (e.g., CPC, CCS, COC, RHIT, or RHIA)

through AAPC or AHIMA.
