Job description

Metal Stud Framers and Drywall Hangers
We are looking for Metal Stud Framers, Drywall Hangers/Finishers with experience or apprentice level for long term employment. ICI, LLC is consistently growing and need to fill multiple openings with great people to join our team. We are hiring for several different jobsites throughout the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall for installation on walls and ceilings.
  • Positioning and securing drywall to metal studs
  • Cutting and installing corner bead to corners.
  • Filling joints, holes and cracks with finishing compound.
  • Smoothing out excess compound and sanding
  • Framing walls and ceilings using light gauge and structural steel studs
  • Read blueprints
  • Builds walls, ceilings and soffits

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
  • Reliable and timely
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math
