8th Grade Special Education Teacher
ProCare Therapy Contract

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join an 8th-grade school team for a full-time contract position. This role is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys working collaboratively with general education teachers and providing targeted academic support, particularly in math.

Position Details

  • Position: Special Education Teacher
  • Grade Level: 8th Grade
  • Caseload: Approximately 13 students
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract through ProCare Therapy
  • Service Model: Combination of push-in and dedicated pull-out instruction
  • Primary Academic Focus: Math

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and academic support to approximately 13 eighth-grade students.
  • Deliver a combination of push-in support and dedicated pull-out instruction.
  • Provide targeted instruction and intervention aligned specifically with 8th-grade math curriculum and student IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other members of the special education team.
  • Implement accommodations, modifications, and individualized instructional strategies as outlined in student IEPs.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
