About the Role
As an Academic Instructor, you will play a key role in helping students achieve academic success and career readiness within our Career Education Center. You will deliver engaging instruction, provide individualized academic support, and help students progress toward GED/HSD completion while strengthening literacy and numeracy skills.
This is more than a teaching role-it's an opportunity to mentor, motivate, and transform lives.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction focused on GED/HSD completion and academic growth
  • Develop individualized learning and achievement plans for students
  • Provide case management to track progress and support student success
  • Integrate applied academics with Career Technical Training (CTT) programs
  • Maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment
  • Support and enforce behavioral and academic standards
  • Mentor students using Career Success Standards (PRH guidelines)
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress with accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with instructors and staff across departments
  • Identify challenges early and implement effective solutions
  • Support overall center performance goals and student achievement outcomes

Qualifications & Experience
