The position description details as outlined below are also subject to change or reassigned at any time.Business Title: General Manager, Tanker Fleet (Technical)Supervisory Responsibilities: YesOvertime Eligible: No Supervisor: Vice President, Operations Purpose/Summary: The General Manager, Tanker Fleet (Technical) is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant technical operation of assigned tankers by managing maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, overseeing budgets, and communicating with ship crews and shore-based teams. The General Manager, Tanker Fleet (Technical) will report to the Vice President, Operations. The General Manager, Tanker Fleet (Technical) works from US Marine Managementโ€™s (USMMI) Norfolk, VA office but will periodically travel to the ship and to meetings with the government and supporting contractors.
