Paraprofessional (Aide) Position at Fries School
Qualifications:
1.Possess Associate's degree, 48 hours of college coursework or successful Paraprofessional assessment score
2.Demonstrate ability to assist students with academic, physical or behavioral tasks as directed by the teacher
3.Possess willingness to learn specialized instructional/management techniques for students with disabilities
4.Possess or ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification and willingness to maintain necessarytraining/certifications as directed by school division
5.Demonstrate knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, HIPPA and other federal and state regulationsregarding student welfare
6.Demonstrate professional and personal characteristics necessary for effective and positiveinteractions with students, colleagues, parents and community
Prefer:
1.Experience working with children
2.Training related to working with special needs students
Salary to be determined by Aide Salary Scale, with consideration for education and experience
