Job description

Applications are being accepted for an assistant women's flag football coach. This is a part-time position that manages all aspects of the athletic program.ย  The position is scheduled to start as soon as possible and work through June 30, 2027.ย 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop student-athletes athletically and assist with their personal growth as young people.
  • Recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
  • Design and implement training as assigned by head coach.
  • Home and away competition management.
  • Travel planning for the team, as assigned by head coach.
  • Administrative duties as assigned by head coach.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Must have valid Iowa driverโ€™s license and insurance coverage and be insurable.

Working Conditions

Travel is required.ย  Frequent weekend and evening hours are required.ย  Working environment includes both indoors and outdoors, exposure to various weather conditions, including temperature extremes.ย  Indoor work environment may not be air conditioned during hot weather.ย  Must have the physical ability to walk, lift up to 50 pounds, run, bend, twist, climb, see, hear, and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. This position works in-person. All requirements are subject to change over time, with possible modifications made to reasonably accommodate individuals with a disability.
