Valid Indiana Principal's License Preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will assist the district and our teachers to teach standards, develop PD, obtain resources, and seek funds to supplement our current programming. This individual will be a key part of communication and support of strategic goals and helping our staff instruct our students.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support the instructional development of all teachers in understanding the Indiana Academic Standards, instruction, technology-integration, grading, assessment, and other district initiatives.
  • Provide support and coordination with principals for how curriculum is developed and implemented consistent with district initiatives and recognized best instructional practices.
  • Work with principals to coordinate and facilitate grade level, department, and building meetings.
  • Work with principals to plan professional development for teachers. Work with principals to plan summer school for students.
  • Work with teachers and principals in the selection process of instructional materials and resources.
  • Research grant opportunities from federal, state and private sources relevant to education.
  • Develop grant proposals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, and community partners.
  • Manage the grant application process, including writing grant proposals, assembling necessary documentation, and submitting applications within deadlines.
  • Monitor grant-funded programs and activities to ensure compliance with grant requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate with funders as needed, providing updates and reports, and other requested information.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
