HACKENSACK PUBLIC SCHOOLS

AP BIOLOGY SUMMER CURRICULUM WRITING TEAM

2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Title:  AP Biology Science 2026 Summer Curriculum Writing Team

Job Description:  Selected staff member(s) will collaborate to review, revise, and/or develop curriculum materials aligned with district goals, state standards, and instructional best practices. Responsibilities may include curriculum writing, assessment development, resource alignment, pacing revisions, and the creation of supporting instructional materials, as determined by the department's Supervisor (Grades 5-12) or Director of Curriculum and Instruction (Grades K-4).

Qualifications:

  • Currently employed within the District
  • Hold appropriate certification in the content area
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
  • Be familiar with district curriculum resources and initiatives
  • Have a proven record of collaboration and attention to detail
  • Be able to meet all project timelines and expectations

Working Conditions:  Hackensack High School

Salary:  As per HBOE.HEA Agreement

Selection Procedure:  Application will be reviewed and interviews conducted, followed by recommendations made to the  Acting Superintendent for Board approval.
