Job description

Steam power plays a significant role in the daily operations of many large economic sectors, such as health care, education, food, and petrochemical among others, poising WARE for expansive growth for years to come.
WARE is seeking a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to grow parts sales while providing outstanding support to our Outside Sales, Service, and Rental teams. This role requires someone who enjoys solving customer problems, building relationships, and delivering exceptional service while managing orders from quote to completion. Prior experience as an Industrial Boiler-Burner Service Technician is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and online chat for WARE, BoilerWAREhouse.com, WARE Boiler University, and The Valve Shop
• Support Outside Sales, Service, and Rental teams by sourcing parts and equipment, preparing quotations, processing orders, and managing orders through delivery
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely communication and successful order fulfillment
• Process customer orders, verify pricing and shipment details, and expedite deliveries as needed
• Proactively communicate order status, delivery updates, and changes with customers
• Complete sales reports, customer follow-up, and other assigned duties
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Five (5)+ years of industrial sales and customer service experience; steam/hot water, plumbing, or HVAC parts and service background preferred
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and online business applications
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage details
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative with a positive, professional attitude
