Job Title PT INSTRUCTOR-ACCOUNTING (Pool) Position Status Part Time Classification Title Part-Time Workforce Continuing Education Instructor Work Location ATC 3200 W. Cuthbert Avenue Midland, TX 79701 Job Summary
Successfully instruct designated entry-level accounting and QuickBooks courses in Workforce Continuing Education; Accounting courses include Accounting I, Accounting II, Introduction to Computerized Accounting, and Computerized Accounting Applications.
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree
Must be able to show proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks
Must be available to instruct in afternoons or evenings
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Intuit QuickBooks User
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Instructional experience
Experience creating lesson plans
Essential Functions
Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the student
Maintain a professional teaching environment
Communicate with Training Coordinator regarding room, media and copy needs
Maintain control of purchased supplies for class
Provide students with evaluation forms for completion
Other duties as assigned
