Job description
The Providence Center Clinical Program Manager I ACT I Harmony Team (CCBHC) oversees daily program operations for their team, providing administrative and clinical supervision to ensure high-quality, evidence-based service delivery. They manage staff performance, scheduling, training, and development while monitoring caseloads, documentation, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. They also support clinical care through oversight of assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage daily team operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision, including routine supervisory sessions on at least a monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with agency standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices and other treatment modalities.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor caseloads, documentation quality, service delivery standards, and staff productivity. (See addendum for program standards)
- Facilitate regular team meetings and communicate key updates.
- Troubleshoot client and staff concerns, providing follow-up as needed.
- Support staff hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Address performance issues, provide coaching to team members and promote a collaborative, professional team culture. Collaborate with HR partners on disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Oversee clinical assessments, treatment planning, and overall client care delivery.
- Ensure accurate, detailed and timely documentation and conduct clinical record audits.
- Provide crisis intervention and support risk-management and emergency response protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, internal departments, and community partners.
- Participate in program development, quality-improvement activities, and committee work.
- Serves as clinical backup in absence of other supervisory staff.
- Complete required reports, approve timesheets, and support billing and productivity oversight.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to ethical and organizational policies.
- Attend team meetings and case reviews to share updates and collaboratively address client challenges.
- Conduct home visits, school meetings, and community outreach to support clients in their natural environments.
- Assist clients with daily activities and life skills through modeling and providing education to promote independence. This includes medication management and budgeting as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Transport clients safely to appointments and activities as needed.
- Foster cooperative relationships with staff, clients, and community partners.
- Attend trainings and case presentations, and complete professional development activities necessary to maintain valid licensure/certification.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support client goals and program needs.
- Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health diagnoses in a community support setting.
- Experience in program management related to assertive community treatment or similar teams.
- Management experience a plus.
- RI licensure required: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCDP
- Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection and insured automobile.
- Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of individuals with mental health issues, their families, and family systems.
- Ability to provide leadership as well as clinical and administrative supervision.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including ability to use Microsoft Excel, with capability in interpreting reports.
- Experience with various treatment modalities, including evidence-based therapies and standardized tools such as PHQ-9, C-SSRS, etc.
- Skilled in crisis assessment, risk management, and de-escalation.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and calm demeanor during emergencies.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Proficiency in documentation and electronic record-keeping systems, including ability to document in electronic medical records.
- Capable of working collaboratively with community partners and in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey information clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, representatives from outside agencies and the public.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse individuals and community partners.
