Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Information Sciences or a related area and a minimum of two years of experience using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility.
- In lieu of degree, minimum four years experience using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Strong experience with MS Office products and MS Visio tools.
- General knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
- Office environment with travel to satellite locations and/or vendor sites.
- Subject to on-call.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Five years work experience in a health care environment managing or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility.
- Strong project management skills.
- Professional Certification with assigned application (i.e., Epic, OnBase or other application certification). Demonstrated technical expertise with computer operating systems, utilities and hardware, Information technology principles, networking, computer hardware, HL7 protocol, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of technical tools and processes used in system development.
Physical Demands:
- May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
- May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
