Working 'on the boat' typically refers to jobs that are performed aboard ships or boats, such as fishing vessels, cruise ships, cargo ships, or research boats. These roles can include positions like deckhands, engineers, chefs, officers, or hospitality staff, depending on the type of vessel. Life on board often involves long hours, living away from home for extended periods, and working as part of a close-knit team. Safety training and certifications may be required, and the work environment can be physically demanding but rewarding for those who enjoy travel and the open water.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a boat crew member, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Boat Crew Member, you need knowledge of seamanship, navigation, safety procedures, and often a boating license or relevant maritime certifications. Familiarity with marine communication systems, GPS navigation, and emergency equipment is typically required. Job description

Who we are:

Twenty years in and some things have changed, but we're the same at our core. We're still having a ton of fun, hanging with Real Good People, and sharing the gift of the Vineyard with everyone we can.
