Comprehensive Ophthalmologist - $25,000 Sign On Bonus + Equity Share! - Raleigh, NC
We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to join our large, surgically focused Ophthalmology group in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our established practices operate with a true private practice feel, where you will join a collegial team focused on excellent patient care! We have updated state-of-the-art technology and a large support staff to make sure you have everything you need to deliver the best patient care in the area!
Practice Details:
  • Strong surgical volume: 400-1,000 procedures annually
  • Updated technology and robust support (dedicated tech, with scribe support during ramp-up)
  • Support of ODs!
  • Mentorship opportunities within a collaborative, growth-oriented group for new grads!
  • Low turnover rate (4%)
  • See an Average 30-40 patients/day
  • MDs supported with at least 1 tech and scribe as volume builds
  • Call shared equally among MDs and ODs
  • Collegial group with strong collaboration!
Compensation and Benefits!
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Partnership eligibility within 12 months for experienced MDs (up to $400K buy-in)
  • Equity grants available for hard-to-fill markets (up to $100K in stock Day 1)
  • Salary based on experience with two models:
  • Base + production (30% past 3x base in collections)
  • Straight % of net collections (with 1-year base guarantee)
  • 401k with 4% match (after 12 months)
  • Medical/dental/vision through United Healthcare
  • Malpractice + short- and long-term disability + life insurance
  • 15-25 PTO days (vacation/sick/CE) + 5-7 paid holidays
  • CME allowance $1,500-$2,500 annually

Schedule
  • Full-time, 5 days/week (some offices may offer a 4-day option)
