Part-time. Flexible hours required

Experience: 1-3 years of previous experience in Ramp and cleaning operation and/or equipment handling/operation.

Knowledge: MUST SPEAK ENGLISH. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Ramp Operation, Customer Service, receive all training for ramp operation and supervisor training.

Computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Job Specifications / Qualifications:

  • Must be able to drive and operate ramp equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds and more.
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and some holidays.
  • Reliable, dependable, and responsible.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Airport Driving Permit.
  • TSA Security Clearance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • US Citizen or US Legal Resident.
  • CBP clearance.
Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Insures that assigned personnel are properly pre-briefed, instructed and utilized on each flight operation properly for the efficient performance of their assignments.
  • Responsible for maintaining safety and security on the ramp at all times.
  • Requisition necessary supplies and equipment to accomplish assignments.
  • Maintains equipment in a damage free, clean, workable condition.
  • Insures that hazardous conditions, unsafe practices, improperly functioning equipment are immediately brought to the attention of management, making sure all airlines, MIA, and Triangle standards are achieved.
  • Carries out the orders and instructions of the Duty Manager in charge of the operation, insuring customer and Triangle performance standards are achieved.
  • Insuring all personnel assigned to his/her crew are properly trained on each piece of equipment or task prior to assigning employee to equipment or task, improving technical skills and insuring safety awareness.
  • Insuring that equipment is completely operational (operating properly and safely) prior to and during the flight operation.
  • Insuring employees are maintaining corporate image by following all safety driving practices, parking equipment properly and adhering to uniform and grooming policy.
  • Competencies: Problem Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal, Oral Communication
  • Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Higher preferred.
  • Physical Requirements of the position:
  • Must have valid Driver’s License.
    Ability to work all shifts (nights and weekends) in different types of weather; pass drug test; professional appearance and good grooming.
