Position: On-Premise Manager


Reports to: Sales Manager


Job Summary:

The On-Premise Manager is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and day-to-day management of contract employees including sourcing, identifying, screening, interviewing, and presenting, and hiring for a local client in light industrial manufacturing.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates to meet client workforce needs.
  • Manage job postings, applicant flow, and candidate pipeline to ensure timely placements.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding to set associates up for success.
  • Act as the day-to-day manager of contract employees, ensuring attendance, shift swaps, coverage, performance, and compliance with client policies.
  • Maintain scheduling, timekeeping, and reporting for all on-site associates.
  • Conduct all payroll duties including pulling timecards, inputting missed time, and handling timecard and pay stub issues
  • Partner with client supervisors to forecast staffing needs and address workforce challenges.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates on KPIs including fill rates, workforce performance, retention, turnover, and recruiting progress.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders during weekly production meetings to develop strategies for retention, engagement, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and client requirements.
  • Manage payroll submissions, documentation, and workforce records accurately.
  • Build relationships with management/supervisory teams on the floor and in the office
  • Handle questions, concerns, and HR-related issues in collaboration with internal HR teams.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Top-tier communication daily, weekly, monthly with management team
  • Be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • 1 โ€“ 3 years of work experience.
  • Background in Sales, Retail Sales, Customer Service, Client Sales, or Restaurant Industry is a plus.


Physical Requirement:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
