Job description

Responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and construction alteration services for Naval Facilities on Guam. Coordinates and synthesizes the daily, weekly and monthly operations. Monitors the daily performance to ensure schedules, manpower and job efficiency are maintained.

Ensures that all contract requirements are met. Organizes, coordinates and perform liaison functions with other operation support units. Responsible for planning, cost analysis, personnel management, supervisory functions and work execution as required to meet customer(s) needs and stay within funding requirements.

Reviews performance metrics daily to ensure service calls are properly tracked, responded to and completed within the required time allotted. Initiates and oversees the execution through completion of sub-contracting projects. Interacts with government counterparts with regards to facilities maintenance issues such as ensuring customer expectation are met with regards to work priority, repair standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsible for maintaining Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs to include critical facilities maintenance, prescriptive equipment maintenance and regular preventive maintenance. Provides continuous updates to the Facility Manager on operational status and contract requirements. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent. Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience. Must be able to work under pressure.

Must have excellent communication (written, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Must have versatile knowledge in areas such as AC, electrical, plumbing, structural, chilled water generation, UPV and VTE's. Must be able to manage personnel, projects, and utilize a variety of software.

Must be computer proficient and familiar with Microsoft Office programs. Must be knowledgeable of MAXIMO and other computerized maintenance management systems. Must have strong safety awareness background.
