SUMMARY OF JOB
The Thrift Store Supervisor is responsible for delivering outstanding experiences for customers, donors, volunteers and employees at the Holy Redeemer Thrift Store. The Supervisor oversees daily operations and back-room processing and is responsible for staff supervision in the absence of the Thrift Store Manager and Assistant Manager. The Supervisor contributes to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and budget planning/adherence. Responsibility is also held for pricing merchandise and stocking/displaying items in any of the Store's departments as needed. The Supervisor coordinates and schedules the use of outside contractors for large-item pick-ups and deliveries when appropriate. CONNECTING TO MISSION: The Thrift Store seeks to be a living example of Redeemer Health's Mission by engaging both the imagination and the energies of our employees and volunteers. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
• At least two years experience working in a thrift, consignment, or retail environment • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills • Must be dependable and reliable • Experience with electronic communication and computerized cash register systems preferred LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: None required
