Job description

The Buss Person clears and resets tables, stock supplies and assist with all setup and cleanup duties. Stocking supplies and assisting guests and staff as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete all tasks as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Check in for assignments upon arrival.
  • Attend roll call for any detailed pre-shift instructions.
  • Deliver all equipment and supplies to the function room.
  • Pick up and deliver beverages prior to the event and return them to stock after the event.
  • Complete consumption reports.
  • Run all food back and forth from the kitchen.
  • Assist in picking up china, glass and silverware from tables.
  • Set up station for scraping and stacking dirty plates, silver and glassware.
  • Properly throw away all garbage - recycle all glass and plastic.
  • Set tables with salt and pepper shakers, ashtrays, matches and votive candles.
  • Completely clear all food service items and top linen from rooms after guests have left.
  • Remove and bag soiled linens and return them promptly to the laundry.
  • Report any faulty equipment or unsafe conditions directly to management.
  • Communicate effectively with staff from both the front and back of the house.
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

  • Must be a team player.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Food safety certification required.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
