We’re proud to enable the world's moments in live events across live touring, sports & broadcasting, film & tv and experiential events. Rock-it Cargo operates seamlessly around the globe, bringing life-changing experiences to millions of people every year.

The full-time Operations Coordinator will assist the Rock-It Cargo Operations team with arranging domestic and international transportation by air and ocean for a variety of live performance touring projects. You’ll work with experienced operations professionals to coordinate domestic and international shipments from booking through delivery. We value potential as much as experience—and we’ll help you learn.

Location: Linden, New Jersey

Work Schedule: Schedule fluctuates based on workloads during weekdays with afterhours / weekend work as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Research routes and book domestic and international shipments.
  • Generate quotes and pricing for domestic and international shipments.
  • Coordinate air, trucking, and ocean import/export moves.
  • Prepare accurate transportation and export documents.
  • Keep customers, carriers, warehouses, and global teams informed.
  • Track shipments and act quickly when plans change.
  • Maintain accurate files and build strong customer and vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics, operations, customer service, events, or another time-sensitive environment is preferred, not required.
  • Some familiarity with freight forwarding or air import/export is helpful.
  • Strong organization and comfort managing multiple priorities.
  • Basic Outlook and Excel skills, plus the ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexibility for occasional overtime, weekends, on-call coverage, or project travel.
