Job description

Moorings Park Communities, a renowned Life Plan organization is hiring a First Responder / EMT. This is a great opportunity for a certified EMT, firefighter or paramedic to pick up some extra hours or if you are looking for Part-Time work. You must have a State of Florida EMT or Paramedic license.

The First Responders will locate any resident who activated a pull cord or pendant and provide the appropriate medical assistance. This position secures and patrols buildings and the entire campus of Moorings Park.


Available Schedule:

- On Call


***Sign on Bonus ***

- Up to $500.00


Your contributions:

  • Monitors resident alerts, responds and provides appropriate medical assistance.
  • Responds to after hour emergencies which may arise in residential apartments, i.e. water leaks, A/C problems, etc.
  • Locks up buildings; patrols the campus during the evening hours and reports maintenance emergencies or problems to the on-call maintenance staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current state of Florida LPN , EMT or Paramedic license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
  • At least 2 years of experience in emergency response position preferred.
