Job description

Shore Medical Center is seeking a full-time On-Call Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The RN will cover on-call shifts from 7pm Sunday through 7am Friday and is a full-time salaried position.
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.
Minimum Requirements
• NJ Licensed RN
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• 3 years of Operating Room Nursing experience
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Proficient in emergency surgeries within these specialties: General, Vascular, GYN, Urology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and Neurology.
• Able to work in stressful emergency surgical situations independently. Previous monitoring experience
• Strong ability to troubleshoot operating room equipment independently.
• Ability to collaborate with operating room team in emergency situations.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
Preferred Requirements
• BSN
• CNOR
• ACLS through American Heart Association
• Cerner experience
Salary: $65,249.60 annual salary
