Do you enjoy helping get to where they need to be? Mennonite Village is looking for an on-call bus driver to ensure that our residents always have access to the transportation they need. 

This role provides safe, reliable transportation for residents of Mennonite Village to medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled destinations and is ideal for someone looking for occasional work rather than a set weekly schedule.

What You'll Do

Provide Safe and Reliable Transportation

  • Operate gasoline, diesel, or electric multi-passenger vehicles
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and corresponding documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle always

Assist Residents

  • Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and secure transportation, including the use of wheelchairs, mobility devises, restraints, and tie-downs as appropriate
  • Safely transport residents to scheduled destinations in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Support Community Life

  • Coordinate transportation schedules with Resident Services staff
  • Maintain accurate transportation records and required operational documentation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • First aid and CPR Certified
  • Valid CDL Class C with passenger endorsement and ability to obtain Oregon licensure as required
  • Successful completion of mandatory ODOT drug test and physical examination is required.
