Job description

The Department of Radiology is currently seeking a per diem Staff Physician. The Staff Physician (per diem) provides patient care by interviewing and treating of clinical patients in order to meet their medical needs. The Staff Physician educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families.
  • Interpret Neuro, CTs, and MR as required by the Department.
  • Supervise performance of technical personnel.
  • Be involved in on-call radiology schedule.
  • Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of diagnostic radiology / neuroradiology.
  • Provide diagnostic imaging consultations as requested.
  • Provide emergency patient care related to imaging as required in the setting of a radiology practice.
  • Participate in teaching activities related to neuroradiology as required in Technological radiology educational programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • M.D. degree. Physician license required.
