Job description

Reliable Solutions Treasure Coast is a family owned & operated mortuary transport company. We specialize in the care, removal and transport of deceased from place of death to funeral home establishments on the Treasure Coast. We are a growing company seeking self-motivated, professional, compassionate individuals to join our team. Prior experience in the industry is helpful but not required, as we offer paid on-the-job training for the right candidate.
POSITION: Night Crew-Mortuary Transport Technician (Overnight Shift).
WAGE: $15-$20/hour (“On the job” training starts at $15/hour).
WORK LOCATION: Dispatch from home/ work “on the road”
WORK HOURS: On-Call overnight coverage (typically 5pm-5am). Calls are dispatched as needed during scheduled shifts. Flexible scheduling with overtime opportunities.
  • A work van is provided with a clean driving record after probationary period.
  • Weekend availability is required. We are a 24/7 on call service that operates 365 days a year.
  • Professional attire is required (formal jacket, necktie, dress shirt, slacks, and shoes. A stipend towards professional attire is available).
  • Must be able to respond to dispatch phone calls promptly and be on the road within a short response window.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift 150lbs and push or pull 250lbs with proper equipment and assistance when required.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Good reading & writing skills are necessary for basic paperwork completion.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record required for drivers.
  • No criminal history. A background search will be performed on all applicants.
  • Smoke Free workplace. No smoking in work vans.
  • Drug Free workplace with testing requirements.
  • Professional appearance required. Visible facial piercings and prominent tattoos are not permitted while in uniform.
  • All positions come with a probationary period of up to several months before working independently.
