Position: Full-Time (40hr/week- five 8 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts)- Onsite, some call

Compensation: Wage starting at $70.44/hour (Based on Experience)

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in providing safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Position Highlights
  • Dispense and verify medications in accordance with Nebraska pharmacy regulations
  • Prepare and compound medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
  • Monitor medication therapy, dosing adjustments, and antimicrobial stewardship
  • Collaborate with providers on medication management and patient counseling
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
  • Maintain medication inventory, controlled substance records, and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and staff education
  • Share in on-call responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy Administration, or PharmD
  • Current Nebraska Pharmacist licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (1โ€“3 years preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
