Job description

Location: Central Arkansas (In-Person / Office & Field)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Requires occasional on-call weekend rotation & field customer service)

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Vacation, Supplemental Insurance, Career Growth

About the Role

Following a property disaster (water, fire, mold), our mitigation teams dry things out—but our Construction team puts people's lives back together.

911 Restoration of Central Arkansas is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager. This is a hybrid role requiring strong administrative project management oversight, subcontractor coordination, and a deep, hands-on understanding of residential trades. The ideal candidate can look at a finished room and instantly spot if the trim, paint, or sheetrock isn't up to professional standards because they’ve successfully done the work themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight & Management: Manage multiple residential and light commercial rebuild projects from initial scope to final sign-off, ensuring timelines and budgets are strictly met.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Source, vet, schedule, and manage specialized subcontractors. Hold crews accountable for quality, cleanliness, and deadlines.
  • Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and business owners during a stressful rebuilding process. Deliver exceptional customer service, manage expectations, and provide regular updates.
  • Quality Assurance (Hands-On Knowledge): Perform regular field inspections to audit work. You must possess the trade knowledge to identify proper execution in:
    • Sheetrock installation and level-4/5 finishing
    • Interior production and detail painting
    • Detailed trim, casing, and crown molding installation
    • Cabinet setting and leveling
    • Flooring installation (LVP, tile, hardwood)
    • Light structural framing
  • Office Operations: Maintain accurate project files, schedules, and documentation out of our Central Arkansas office (M-F, 7am-4pm).

Position Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated history managing residential or commercial construction/remodel projects, budgets, and schedules.
  • Deep Trade Literacy: Substantial, practical knowledge of framing, drywall, paint, trim, cabinets, and flooring. (You must know how the work is done to manage those doing it).
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations with stressed homeowners and push back on subcontractors when necessary.
  • Availability: Regular office hours are M-F, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Must be willing to participate in an occasional weekend on-call rotation for emergency field oversight/customer care.
  • Application Requirements: All applicants must provide a verifiable work history, professional references, and a portfolio or photos of previous projects they have completed or managed.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive healthcare package: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid Vacation / Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Supplemental insurance options.
  • Clear pathways for professional growth within a rapidly expanding national restoration brand.
