Job Summary

Aptive/Artemis seeks a Data Analytics Lead responsible for leading data analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation activities in support of large-scale federal transition assistance programs serving transitioning Service members, Veterans, and their families. This position oversees the collection, management, interpretation, and presentation of program data to support operational effectiveness, strategic planning, and continuous program improvement. The Data Analytics Lead works closely with Government leadership, operational teams, and stakeholders to develop actionable insights, performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products that support data-driven decision-making and modernization initiatives across the program.

Primary Responsibilities

The Data Analytics Lead manages the development and implementation of performance analysis frameworks, conducts program evaluations, and identifies trends, gaps, and emerging issues impacting transition assistance services. This role is responsible for coordinating data integration from multiple government and partner sources, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and preparing executive-level reports, briefings, and recommendations. The position also supports strategic action planning by delivering analytics that measure program outcomes, operational performance, customer engagement, and service effectiveness. The Data Analytics Lead collaborates with program managers and technical teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in data analytics, program evaluation, and project management within the Federal Government or Department of Defense environment. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, performance measurement, dashboard development, and executive reporting. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support organizational goals and mission success.

This is a contingent hire position.

This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings will be required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 within the federal government.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the management of government program data collection, modeling, analyses, and product generation.
  • Experience in preparing executive level reports, briefings, and documentation deliverables.
  • Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
