Job description

Cottage Health seeks a Patient Navigator Business Analyst for their CH Patient Access department responsible for performing a variety of analytical, administrative, organizational and reporting tasks and duties. Collects, analyses and mines data; creates and prepares regular utilization reports to monitor performance and will identify opportunities and participate in process improvement projects aimed at improving patient service and resource utilization. Major responsibilities include:

  • Key collaborator, working closely with department managers, clinic managers, directors and business partners to execute tasks and deliver on key deliverables according to timelines. 
  • Provides analysis of contact center and financial operations, productivity reporting and operating budget review to provide support for leadership.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health's annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential. QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum: Intermediate MS Word, Outlook, Excel Skills, PowerPoint 35 wpm keyboard/typing speed.
  • Preferred: Electronic Health Record System, MS Office.

Years of Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum: Two (2) years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Preferred:  Two (2) years of experience in scheduling, and provider templates.  EPIC experience a plus.
