Job description

Dermatologist Position at UC Davis Medical Group

UC Davis Medical Group, in collaboration with the UC Davis Primary Care Network, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible dermatologist to join our growing team at our new Folsom Health Center in Folsom, CA. Opportunity highlights include a structured and balanced schedule—Monday through Friday clinic hours, with one Saturday per month. The inclusion of a Saturday clinic ensures that physicians are not required to take on-call duties, providing a predictable and manageable work-life integration. This role is ideal for a motivated physician interested in delivering high quality care in a collaborative and caring environment. This position does not include faculty appointments.

Minimum qualifications: unrestricted CA medical license and DEA license; MD or DO, board certified or eligible in specialty area.

Key responsibilities include 90% outpatient care and 10% administration. The department is responsible for providing research, education, and clinical service. Patient care is provided at the UC Davis Medical Center and outpatient services are provided in several ambulatory clinics in Sacramento as well as Davis, Elk Grove, Folsom, and Roseville.

Annual salary range: $466,453 - $570,110. Salary grade: UC99. UC job title: ASC PHYSCN. UC job code: 000771. Number of positions: 1. Appointment type: Staff: Career. Percentage of time: 100. Shift (work schedule): Monday - Friday. Location: Cannery Business Park (HSP110). Union representation: 99 - Non-represented (PPSM). Benefits eligible: Yes.
