Responsibilities
  • Lead all people-management responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, employee development, scheduling, attendance/timecard management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive, accountable, safety-focused culture.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, provide timely feedback, lead difficult conversations, and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize CMMS to coordinate and manage daily maintenance operations during Swing Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM) or Overnight Shift (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance systems, operating procedures, and equipment SOPs.
  • Oversee equipment repairs, vendor relationships, and contractor support activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance issues, troubleshoot system failures, and drive timely resolution.
  • Support facility commissioning, escalations, and documentation of facility improvement opportunities.

What we’re looking for in a Maintenance Manager
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or equivalent trade/technical training in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC engineering.
  • 8 to 10 years of progressive technical maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or commercial production environments.
  • 5+ years leading maintenance technician teams of 8+ employees and managing critical projects across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, controls, and facility systems.
  • Experience with CMMS software, maintenance engineering analytics and reporting.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
Additional Details
  • Shifts/schedules rotate at various times of the year; current open shifts: Swing (2pm - 11pm) or Overnight (10pm - 7am).
  • Available on at least 1 weekend day per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Hand dexterity and ability to climb a ladder, crouch or kneel, reach and stretch.
  • Comfortable in an active non sedentary role for lengths of up to 5 to 6 hours at a time.
  • MUST NOT be allergic to bees.
  • There may be times where you may have to respond to emergencies or issues off hours that impact the facility or your team.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
